it’s rainy season once again…. ah, cuddling up in bed with my big pillows… ;-) in honor of this season, i’m sharing with you one of my favorite songs… "Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka"… the song also makes me think of God’s powerful love, which sometimes can be likened to the rain… i find the song reallymeaningful that i also use it during my meditations… one more thing: i love taking a bath under the rain… just what i did last night ;-)  ;-) ;-)

may you also remember God’s outpouring graces whenever you got to experience the wonderful gift of RAIN….

Tuwing Umuulan At Kapiling Ka

Raindropsdalbeg

chorus:
Buhos na ulan aking mundo’y lunuring tuluyan
Tulad ng pag-agos mo di mapipigil
Ang puso kong nagliliyab
pag-ibig ko’y umaapaw
Damdamin ko’y humihiyaw sa tuwa
Tuwing umuulan at kapiling ka

Pagmasdan ang ulan unti-unting tumitila
Ikaw rin magpapaalam na
Maari bang minsan pa
Mahagkan ka’t maiduyan ka
Sakbibi ka’t ulan lamang ang saksi?

chorus2:Raindrops1

    Hello Jay :)
    Remembering rainy days huh!

Mushy things aside, the season had definitely brought funny-kind’a-sad-but-memorable experience to me as well especially when i was a kid… and just like you, i had enjoyed the rain pouring down on me…

hmmmn, dugangan pa maglusong sa baha????

i cant help but to say something when you brought this up… we dont get to experience soaking ourselves under the rain here…. kay basi kilatan ka, ti igpas bagawbaw mo e :) :) :)
sa pihak nga bahin….the rain had become a symbol to some people, maybe grief or blessings…but whatever it brings to some of us, i think that it is important to note that when this time pass, comes the sunny days….

    hay, missing home :(

talking about rain, i find it strange for some people to be so morbidly afraid of it even if it’s just a drizzle. i also don’t quite get the reason why one must take a bath after having gotten wet from the rain. do you take another bath indoors after taking a bath in the rain? maybe i have been a brit in my past life or im just such a sucker for burberry and their obsession with rain gear fashions. i love getting wet in the rain. for a country with expected wet season, we really havent gotten a point where we make a culture out of it. i guess our fear of rain has gotten the better of us. i celebrate everytime it rains coz somewhere i know a prayer to quench the earth has been answered. im quite happy also coz someone like you will get to take a bath (not that im saying you only take a bath when it only rains). i also celebrate coz it’s time to let out my trusty new balance sneakers, my favorite jil sander sweater and my burberry shirt. i imagine myself in the movie “singing in the rain” or the final scene in the movie “who is cletis tout?”. go watch it and maybe you would understand my romantic view of this whole rainy deal.
